Recent revisions to Massachusetts Regulation 527 CMR 9.00 Board of Fire Prevention Regulations require a Third Party Underground Storage Tank Inspection Report be performed on all underground storage tanks (USTs) prior to August 8, 2010 and once every three years thereafter. GREEN has approved Third Party UST Inspectors that complete these inspections to permit new facilities as well as to ensure compliance for existing tank storage facilities. In addition to an inspection of the UST system components, documentation is reviewed including current licenses, permits and registration forms, and testing records for leak detection and monitoring systems.
